It's a Corsair AX1200 that I got back in 2011. It's getting up there I suppose.

Doubt it.  Don't go throwing money at it.

I was not planning on replacing the PSU if that's what you were wondering. I saw a SLI benchmark rig that had the same PSU as mine.

"Yes I do. It's just not as impressive. The Titan is a 980 with a bit more hair and a bunch more Vram to me."
This the compare score that you will see on most reviews and overclocking sites.
I would compare your 2 Cards to my 4 Cards but don't have you link.
Here is my current High http://www.3dmark.com/fs/4302874 Fire Strike 31771
I bet you could hit 40000 easy with 3 GTX Titan X Cards and at least 50000 with 4 Cards.

Oh wow... I see. And the Titan X is still just out with a bunch more software updates to come. I am pretty sure I am going to get a 3rd card though to fully " future proof" myself for 4K gaming.

http://www.3dmark.com/hall-of-fame-2/fire+strike+3dmark+score+ultra+preset/version+1.1 is the place to look, Titan X Cards are taking over the Top 10 100. I see a whole lot of Intel Core i7-5960X now as well.

I only see one Titan, the rest are 980s.

OK and where is your Score>?
Intel Core i7-5960X and I Count 14 Titan X Graphics Cards on the Hall of Fame Top 10 100 List. Dropped a Zero.
The Count yesterday was 4.
Give it time as it has only been a week now.

The OP just spent $2000 throwing in on Two New Graphics Cards, sometimes new and old do not mix well.
A New 1200Watt PSU would be fine, a 5 year old PSU may not be.

For those that are curious, here's what the guys at Nvidia had to say:

"If you're not even getting the MB BIOS screen then this is definitely a hardware compatibility issue, likely between MB system BIOS and the Titan BIOS. I discussed this with our development team and we're actually investigating a similar issue reported on a Dell MB. The Dell MB would beep 6 times repeatedly when two Titan X cards are installed, no video at all. Works fine with single Titan X or with GTX780 SLI. This could be the MB not capable of supporting GPU with such large memory size, but we won't know until we can hook up a debugger to verify."

Sooo looks like I may be ending up spending a little more. Or maybe sending the second card back.

Do you know if this is an Alienware Area 51 R2 by chance?

i have one and put two titan X sli in last night but got the 6 beeps.  When checking the cards individually in the top slot one didnt work, the other did - so for me it appears to be a defective card.  BUT....
 (BTW I have i7 5820)

I have an Alienware Area 51 R2 and ran into the same problem. I wish I had known about this before I spent 2 grand on the cards. Now the question is can this be resolved with a patch from dell or Nvidia? Or, am I going to have to send on back for a refund.
