PrecisionX 16 Skin loading problems

Hello, I recently purchased a GTX 970 and I am using the Precision X software. I want to know how to load skins. I downloaded a Drerex skin but it is in a .usf file. I changed the .usf to a .uxf which all other skin'd formats are in. The precisionX program does not recognize the skin however. Do I have to use the EVGA skin tool? I don't know the password to the skin. Thanks in advance!
