    Hello Tarute,

Please try resetting the motherboard by taking out the coin battery for 10-15 seconds with the power disconnected. If you are continuing to have issues, please try testing the motherboard out of the case on a non-conductive surface and with only the CPU and 1 Stick of RAM. You may also want to double check your CPU and CPU socket for any bent pins or discoloration on the CPU.

If you have any further issues or questions, feel free to contact us 24/7 at 1-888-881-3842 or by email at support@evga.com.

I have taken the battery out of the system board and the same fault continues. I have also come to the second power supply without case and a single memory the same fault motherboard gives a fault code FF. I removed the processor 2-3 and checked the pins and mounting there is nothing wrong with that.

97 Console Output devices connect. Are you using the DVI Port if not test using the DVI Port.
I will be doing the same but with a i7-4820K in the next week.
Also ASUS X79 Motherboards are also seeing this same Error, thought you should know.

Intel CPUs are usually very good and you should have no problems with their customer support if the CPU is within warranty

    Yep!
Did not have any issues installing the GTX 980 Hybrid on my X79 FTW Motherboard with the i7-4820K CPU.
