Hello Guys!
I've bought a used desktop computer two months ago. Some days after I bought it, an error appeared every time I turned on the computer (the error said "CPU FAN ERROR"), but after some restarts the pump started working and everything went well, until yesterday. I tried to contact the seller, but he didn't answer any of my calls. Yesterday I was playing a game when I saw that i was losing fps, so I checked the cpu's temperature and I saw it was 100 degrees, so I checked the pump and it wasn't working. Now I'm trying to fix it. My configuration is:
Case:EVGA Hadron Hydro
Cooler: Hadron Hydro kit
EVGA Geforce GTX780TI Classified
i7 4770K @ 4.0Ghz
8GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator Platinum
PSU 500W EVGA
1 SSD Samsung 120GB 840 EVO
1 2TB HDD Samsung
So I started to check inside and I didn't understand what the previous owner did. I checked the cables that came from the bomb and three of them were cut (image below), another strange thing was that he connected all this cables at the cpu fan plug (some of the cables were burnt). I'm not used to watercoolers, (this is my first one), I was wondering if you guys could help me decide what I should do in this case. If I have to buy a new kit or just a new pump, I really don't know what to do.
Thanks for your help!
