Hello,

I heard there are compatibility issues with some PSU and the X79 Dark, I was wondering if the Seasonic P1000 would work fine ?
If not, what about the EVGA SuperNOVA 1600T2 or Corsair AX1500i ?

Thanks a LOT :)

One PSU I know for certain works fine with the Dark mobo is the 1300W G2.  That's the combo I've been using for over a year now.  Along with a 10 yr warranty, it scored great with JonnyGURU  >>  http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story&reid=349

Anything produced by SuperFlower is a solid unit and should be compatible per what EVGA eludes to here  >>  http://forums.evga.com/x79-Dark-and-SuperNOVA-1050-GS-m2299897.aspx

My X79 Dark is using the same SuperNOVA 1300G2 PSU and with 3 GTX Titans. Dark Titan
Have been from day one, for the most part the only PSU I use now.

My Seasonic SS-1050XM ATX 1050 Power Supply definitely does not work, and if you look at my post I just enered today EVGA directed me away from their Seasonic option. http://forums.evga.com/x79-Dark-and-SuperNOVA-1050-GS-m2299897.aspx#2300091

Personally, I don't think my next MB would be a EVGA since I ended up with the x79 Dark due to issues with my x79 SLI and the PSU issues has left me bitter.  The support from the company otherwise has been top notch.

No, You pointed to this post:  http://forums.evga.com/x79-Dark-and-SuperNOVA-1050-GS-m2299897.aspx#2300091
I do not recall you said anything about a technical support ticket.

I run an X79 Dark with a Seasonic X-750 and never have issue with booting up.

I have a BNIB Cooler Master V1000-also made by Sea Sonic....Will NOT work on my Dark Mobo.  Even my old 650 Watt P.O.S. unit will make the Dark function.  I bought the Cooler Master for my Dark build but only found out there was a problem with Sea Sonic after messing with it for many months.
