Whew. After a 7hr straight marathon tonight, I hit 15hrs and 5 minutes. Was decent tonight on the server. Really Really wish EVGA would get a Hard Core server.

2 years is a good bit of time, but trust me like 99% of these forums who are 5yrs+ have not won anything either. These competition will have like 1-2 people from here score something. The rest of the stuff goes to people who probably have no idea who EVGA is, joins for the competition and you never see them again, or its simply going to ebay lol. When you join the events, just start with the mindset you arent winning, your just there to play and see how many people you never seen before join up lol.

well yeah sure it has to be fun...it's kinda funny when i get to kill people with my 230-300 ping it's just weird...

Im curious how the #1 prize winner won yet didnt meet the basic 15hr requirement?
 
as always another event with fun times mostly, yet unknown winners of cool swag items. i think im like others and just done putting in effort. too many years of this.

I just checked, and T0RC4ED has more than 15 hours played in the eVGA servers (hours from all eVGA servers adds up).
 
KW-Sparhawk has been a member for just a little bit longer than you, and he just won.  If he had given up like you are wanting to, then he would not have won this event.  You have to remember that TONS of people are entering and not everyone can win every time.  I went many years before I finally won something.  These events are also supposed to be about having fun with other eVGA members.  I can't even win anything anymore since I am an EGC server admin, yet I had 65 hours in the servers this event.  I play on the servers because I have fun playing with others from here, and it's also much better when people get on TeamSpeak while we play.

Manbear only plays to hear me talking in TS ,he is just shy about telling others the real reason.

my mistake, the 24/7 Final stand server wasnt showing anything, but now it does.
 
 
Yes, it draws the entire internet, those who do not care about, nor support the company. Literally every event in the last 10 years that Ive seen or participated in has a 99.9% chance its someone who fits the criteria I mentioned above. I know the odds of someone we know winning compared to the rest of the world is a massive difference, but its just sad. NEVER do they do a closed epic event, or even a b-stock event for its loyal members.

Maybe add that as a suggestion, Joey is always looking for a way to get more of the EVGA community involved! Also remember that the forum names do not always represent the in game names!!
