Just a preliminary picture of the build, still have some tidying up to do, this was just a test run.

Intel I7 4790k
MSI z97i Gaming ACK
Corsair Vengeance 16gb(2x8) 2400
Hadron Air
Corsair H60
Corsair 120mm SP fan x2

2 laptop hdds misc

Was a tight squeeze, but managed to get everything in there so far, Just need to drill some holes to secure the second fan as the H60 makes the holes not line up on the second fan.
Get a new GPU to go in the unit. Get a 2260 m.2 sata ssd
Get some decent TB storage drives.
Cable management.

Coming a long nicely so far.

    5/10 for amazon
    1/10 for MSI

MSI motherboard DOA - no power, no lights, nothing.

If I hadn't based everything else on the build around the motherboard - and if I was able to return everything(without fee's) I would be doing so right now.

Really disappointed that MSI would have such poor quality control.

While amazon are taking care of , 4 weeks on a new motherboard to ship is ridiculous - wish I could send MSI a bill.

Will start the build over in another month I guess.
Don't think I will ever buy another msi product

    Bad luck lottery.

Mobo was bad, CPU was also dead,
    and the EVGA hadron PSU.

Not a power surge or anything else. Just DOA parts. Figures, Build systems for a living and get the trifecta on my own build lol.
    Oh well.

At least the unit is now in progress again, new mainboard and new CPU, system boots with a test PSU, but not the hadron one.

Should be the last thing to get replaced before the unit is up and running

Parts replaced. System up and running.
Will post pics later this week.

Comparison compared from the old to the new - even the GPU got huge gains.
