Honestly not too interested, I am more interested in game engines and what they can do now from pushing polygons to world sizes even on older hardware, shows you just how much the PC gamer has gotten the shaft over the years, not to mention someone like me that has a studio while engine shopping.

Stream Gaming over a U.S. IPS, where the U.S. has the largest whole(s) in its internet infrastructure, I don't see this panning out, or well thought through...

whole or hole? I would have thought they would start in a place like Korea, where a console like this (power efficient, small, can run PC games, and Korea has the network to back it) would do rather well I think. Right now Koreans go to PC cafe's because the cost is lower and no worry about where to keep a computer, but If they could just use their TV+keyboard+mouse+Nvidia they could just stay at home.

I find this interesting about Nvidia Grid. If Nvidia partners don't do all the heavy lifting, Nvidia Grid will go no where. Customers could see well above 150ms latency.

It's worth noting that all Nvidia is doing with the Grid is providing the backend for a cloud gaming service—it will be up to partners to purchase the servers, build services, and then convince developers and publishers to make their games available on those services.

I don't see casual gamers going with Nvidia Shield (console). They will not like the monthly subscription fee's on top of limited selection of games offered on Nvidia Grid. If they buy a PS4/XB1, they can play games without monthly a subscription or internet connection.

I wonder how much the subscription fees will be per month. My guess is $15-35 a month
    720p plan (15 Mbps recommended)
    1080p plan (50 Mbps recommended)

My next question would be will Nvidia be data mining what people watch or plugin to the Shield, like LG does on it's smart tv's.

I highly doubt it'll be that much. My guess is premium is no more than $15. They will kill it before it has a chance to live at those prices.

720p requires, if I remember correctly, 5 mbps and 1080p 15 mbps. You can look it up on NVIDIA's site.
