I just starting folding for 1 month just wondering how does the EVGA bucks system work. Do I have to claim it at the end of every month or is it automatic?

Ive checked it and it says For each milestone, you will need to check in on the My Folding page to request your EVGA Bucks. To check your current 'folding year' point totals, check your My Folding page. I have try to go to my folding page but dont find anything that say check in your work.

you don't check in your work if you are folding with team 111065 and your folding name matches your EVGA name then EVGA will have a running monthly tally of your folding points all reliant on daily stats that are collected from Stanford or EOC it's up to you at the end of each month to press the collection button for each tier at my folding page if you have met or surpass that goal (you can also press them when you surpass them during the month)

check for year 7 (for your last month) for example Folding@EVGA Year 8: - 03/2015: Score: 0Total Year 8 Points: 0
Page updates every 24 hours. Not seeing any folding points? Go to your Profile and input your Folding@EVGA name. Folding Points For Previous Years: 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 select 7 (for last month) for last folding year 7
we are starting year 8 this month

Also they had said they were having a problem with a bug and collecting your EVGA Bucks. So you may give it a couple days to make sure they got it ironed out. You have until the 15th to collect for last year. NVM on this. They just gave conformation a couple hours ago that the aforementioned problem had been resolved. And welcome to the team.

One more question how do you know if you receive bonus point? A note for new users. You will not see any bonus points until 10 Work Units (WU) have been turned in. Once those have been confirmed, you will get bonus points from then on. Please keep your Passkey in a safe place so that you do not have to get a new one down the road and have to to the ten WU's again:

I borrow this thread cause I´m new to folding also :) Just got my GTX 980 hydro copper and my guestion is, is it ok to pause folding middle in the workunit and change graphics card. After the switch just continue folding with new one or does VGA change mess something up? I have 4 hours left until the workunit is ready and I can´t wait that long. I get home in 2 hours :) @Fr3D1 You will notice that in folding @ home program. There is a base credit which is much less what estimated credit. I think that difference of those numbers are bonus points.

I would set the Client to Finish and wait for the task to complete. When you pause folding I find you drop almost 30% in Credit.

Remember that all that card has going for it is the Memory and it would be a waste for Folding. But then the Maxwell Completely Open or the full Maxell GM200 GPU.

Now with my signature setup I get 360k with P9411 folding total. Graphics only score to that project is 328k. My CPU and GPU are both in stock clocks. When I had my 970SSC I got about 270k-300k total with core 17 folding depending on projects and overclocks what I had in GPU. Remember that projects what you get matters a lot in PPD. I have been lately folded some core 15 P8018 and there is no bonuspoints at all. When I folded that project with 970 my PPD was like 60k :) Core 15=low credit Core 17=high credit Hope that helped!

There will be two buttons to press. 750k redeem and 1.5m redeem. You can wait till you get the 1.5m and redeem points at the same time. http://gyazo.com/479de10918a1ef1f23c6541d44c51eb6

I just started folding again and checked "My Folding" - I know it's been posted that the points are whacked.... but it shows 2/16 as -5,307,971 - my system appears to be eating points instead of adding them? - lol (No redeem button for me - I hope EVGA doesn't bill me for the $10.00 - hehehehe)

Sometimes the system that EVGA uses to pull the daily updates chokes up a little bit - It usually straightens itself out when the sever folks kick it in the digital head a few times. The most common visual side effect is a massive negative points score for every active folder. I'm giving it until around noon or so my time tomorrow to straighten out before I reach out to the folks at EVGA to offer up my hourly stats pulls in case they need to reset the zero point value for the month. Usually, however, they kick the process around and our points are showing their proper values sooner than later. And yes, it's happened enough that we have a thread on it, exclusively, amusingly enough. You can check it out here.
