Yes congratulations, especially at such a good price! I purchased mine when it was $100 off on a New Egg Canada promo and got a $30 mail in rebate (which EVGA processed relatively quickly!).

The price really is the main hinderance for this board... My view is that it would be much more competitive if it was priced closer to say the ASUS-WS on new egg, or at least around the Maximus Formula z97.... In truth, Im not sure if I would have paid full price for this board.... Maybe now that I've actually used and like it so much, but initially, it would have been a tough sell. The bells and whistles on other boards can seem attractive (although most ppl buy and don't use them, lol).

At any rate, feel free to ask questions if your having any challenges... Its a good community here.

Did you use the evga e-leet tuning utility?
What settings did you use to get 4669 mhz on your 4790k?

no e-leet for me, I'm too old for that new fangled stuff  lol .  No I manually enter in bios.
Now you realize that just cause we have the same equipment that we can get different results. Cpu's especially! Anytime you clock, WATCH YOUR TEMPS till you know the changes work. For me, high 70's is my ceiling temp w/ 100% stress testing. Cooler means longer life wise. These numbers took me hrs to adjust. Clocking is a tweeking game, change one thing at a time so you know how to go back!
There is a ton of info out there on how to and why to overclock:
    http://www.overclockers.com/3step-guide-to-overclock-intel-haswell/ is a quick read.
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1800828/intel-temperature-guide.html is a nice just so you know kind of thing.
http://www.overclock.net/t/1411077/haswell-overclocking-guide-with-statistics for some ideas on record breaking.
And you should be listing your rig parts and specs so your new friends can give you educated advice
I'm running: 56x /46x / dn to 24 on clock ratio 1.202 on cpu V  and Buss freq of 100.50 left everything else auto
    Memory factory spec : 2400Mhz  11/13/13/31 @ 1.64 V supposed to be 1.65v but I  took .01 off just cause I can

Go to Jacob's theard on overclocking. Much easier than what you are doing. http://forums.evga.com/EV...ng-Guide-m2208949.aspx Set your XMP profile for your ram in the bios and you are done. So simple. Note the X99 and Z97 board's overclock the same. Have fun this board it is a beast! I love mine.

Can't speak for the gigabyte. Never owned one.

I have a Z97 Classified. No issue with PCI-E spacing. If you are talking about the people thinking they should have X16 in SLI? That's not going to happen until a processor for the socket 1150 comes out with more thane 16 total lanes. I have (4)-PWM 4 pin and (3) 1 amp DC headers. How many more did you need?

Evga in my opinion is the best I've been a fan for six years. The forums are full of knowledgeable people who go out of their way to help. All of the Evga Techs read the forums and respond to any questions you have.

EVGA said it has 2 - 4 pin headers.....just like to use software for fan profile and i'm reaching for anything to pick between the two of these.  :)

Yeah leaning towards this one if for nothing else my respect for the way EVGA goes out of their way to always help.

I ordered the Classy today.  I doubt I'll be disappointed.  My TT Core X9 case won't get here till Tuesday though but I'll have all of the components on Friday so I know I'll go ahead and swap all the stuff that's in my Storm Trooper case although I should wait and just put it in the new case and avoid the double install.

Thanks for all the input guys!

does the Creative Sound Core3D support dolby digital and dts?  I don't see the option in the software and it looks like the one that came with the actual sound card I have except it's missing that tab and i'd rather not have to hook up the sound card.

Did some checking and the board doesn't support dolby/dts.

I'm googling but having trouble finding out if i can just download the Creative Dolby digital live and dts connect pack and it make the dolby/dts option available or would I need to use my physical sound card that I have?
    http://software.store.cre...e-and-dts-connect-pack

I have a receiver that can use dolby/dts.
