I was posting what my GPU are running as the Fold, my question to Drazhar is he running or Folding with K-Boost Enabled or Disabled. The image are Stocked Clocks of the HC Model.

Grey_BeardTo show what I was doing with this new rig I was testing different projects and folding to see how well the GTX 980 HC Crunch and Fold Projects. This is of collatz Large Task running. If you look in post #5 http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2302896 the 4th GPU Voltage and Clock is lower than the other 3 cards. So I uses EVGA Precision X to increase the Voltage and +30 to match or get close to the other 3 cards. So the next time I Fold I will run EVGA Precision X so that all 4 cards are the same or close to it. And hope that I get Core 17 & P9411.

Okay. I was looking for the K-Boost setting and could find it. Thanks for the education. I also see that the voltage was lower too. On the last one it seems things are closer in speed but the last one's voltage is higher. What causes that?

Not all GPUs are equal is all I can think is why the Voltage and Clock is not the same as the other 3 cards. Also part of my test was to see if the issue ran on another Non-Folding GPU Task and it is the same so it is the card and not the program running. I would still like to know if Drazhar is Folding with or without K-Boost before I turn mine on for testings.

All KBOOST does is make your GPU run at full speed all the time. So the only benefit you would get from it is the first 30 seconds of run time when your GPU is starting a wu. It also wouldnt give your GPU that nice cool down period between wu's.

I just have my card on stock settings, if that helps. It's not an EVGA card either, since Micro Center didn't have any that day. But then it's a complete reference model so nothing particularly lost.

I haven't been to my machine in a couple days. So I haven't gotten to see what the 760's are up to. But I would assume close to what your 660Ti's are pulling. Do you have any info on what they are pulling on these new units? So I have some kind of idea.
I'm guessing over 100k per card which is fantastic for them. I'll look into it later when I get home.

If you used EVGA Precision X it is turned on with this tool. If not than it is off. I do not know about MSI's AB tools.

I'm not sure if it is directly related to the asic or not but my 970s seem to do the same thing. The one with the much higher asic quality has a higher boost clock while folding and slightly less voltage. The other 2 have the same voltage but run different clocks. They are on default voltage, linked in precision X, with a +203 clock offset. The boost clocks seem to scale along with the asic though. ASIC boost clock 63.6% 1430 67.6% 1455 Both of these are at 1.218v 74.8% 1480 1.206v Not sure if any of that helps you but figured it couldn't hurt to point it out.

+100 but have bench marked at +200. These are reference nvidia 970 cards though so I think I have more headroom compared to 3rd party manufactures. They are 1050 base 1178 boost at stock. I should also note that I seem to not get the 250k+ ppd I have heard others reporting with 970s. I get more in the 220-230k range with core 17 WUs. Another thing is the clocks are always the same while gaming. I only see the different core clocks while folding

What Driver Version are you on? For the most part I Fold only on Stock Clocks. I wonder if I should give this project a test round on my 780 cards, it is getting cold in my house and I need some more heaters. My 290X are not getting this project so they may only be for the Maxwell GPU or NVIDIA in general.

347.25 though i folded fine with 347.52 but had an annoying desktop flicker that i think is more related to the DP ports as it started after getting a new monitor and changing cables on all of my displays. Edit: I have a 9411 running on a gk104 card right now so it is not limited to maxwell, not sure if it is on a 660ti or a 770 though. the v7 client doesn't seem to get the cards right when mixed on the same rig
