Corsair link causes precisionx 16 to keep voltage stuck at 1062

I installed precision x latest version as of today and it ran great. With no heavy GPU use the GPU would downclock to around mid 300's and the voltage would stay at the bottom of the limits.
 
As soon as i installed Corsair link Precision x has upclocked the GPU to 1058 and voltage is steady at 1062. This is causing stress on my card and fans.
 
These clocks and voltage would be understood during a heavy graphic load. I saw this before and unistalled windows 8.1 with all updates and started with precision x and it ran great. Low and behold I installed corsair link AFTER precision X and BAM right back to the same issue. I have now uninstalled corsair link and the "dongle" from add remove program, restarted and still have the same issue. I can't get the GPU and voltage to drop.

RAM 8 gig
Rampage IV Formula with all BIOS updated as of today
Latest graphics drivers as of today
 
I'm out of ideas. Any help guys/gals?

    Also as a side note when I disable Corsair Link (h110i) precision x down clocks the GPU boost to 324mhz and the voltage drops to 987.
     
    Does anyone have any similar issues?

    Not had the same problem, but i know a few places you should also try:
    The corsair forums deal with their software, and the author of the software is always around to listen, if there is an issue in link, he will be the one that can fix that.
    I am in no way any kind of expert, but with what sounds like a conflict, its best to ask both creators to look into the same issue

    Please post over on the Corsair forums and see if they have answer for you there.
     
    Although Corsair Mike passed away in December I still have some contacts at Corsair if you get no answer so just let me know and I'll try as best as I can to assist.

    Corsair Link is known for being buggy just like the Corsair Gaming software used for RGB keyboards.
