Hi SR2 Fans,

debug code FF possible SOLUTION.............I have been intouch with EVGA and they're correct. Both my cpu water blocks were too tight. I loosened all 4 screws per cpu block, minimum spring tension, equally all re tightened on both cpu blocks. Instantly no more debug code FF. I have tried it on another bios and it booted 100%. Bios detected all ram and both cpu's. It seems one or both cpu blocks were causing the cpu to not sit 100% on the pins causing bad connection.

Really pleased I found it as what head ache its been.

That implies your water blocks were on so tight that they were warping not just the motherboard but the CPU socket.
Perhaps it is time for manufacturers to publish torque figures for this sort of thing, and explicitly state that you should not put a 3ft bar on the end of a socket to tighten it up...

Not at all. It was advise and a possible solution. Remove the cpu and reseat. Check tensions on blocks. Possible bad connection or bents could be a cause. Not what I had done.
