Hi all,

I did not fold the last week of Feb. I just started again today, and my 970s are getting around 75 PPD before it was between 150 and 200 at lease.
My 750Ti doing 57k PPD. How is that even possible?

Updated drivers and FAH and got new WU, no change. Both GPU's are boosting fine and are at 100% load. No cpu workload is being done.

Thanks

It depends a lot on what work units Stanford are issuing out. I just received a couple of 9201 units which are about 34 thousand points each today. Yesterday I had a bunch of low point work units.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Core 15 P8018 their are no Bonus Points for Core 15 Projects.
They are very old and due the issues on the Maxwell GPU with Folding Projects you are going to see Core 15 more often then you would like.
That is until the correct the issues with Maxwell or they run out of Core 15 Projects.

AMD has the advantage over NVIDIA ATM because AMD GPU's cannot run Core 15 Projects.
They get P9201 P10469 Core 17 Projects, but also Core 18 is out but I have not seen any on my AMD Cards nor have I seen them on my NVIDIA Cards.

Do you have your client-type set to advanced?

I did , and then I wasnt able to fold. Removed all the FAH folders, it took a full re-install and re-config to get it back up with more core 15 WU .
Attempting again now, at this rate its not really worth folding its simply too hot to leave it on all the time.
The bonus is killing PPD for sure.

    Will report back.

On my 980 Cards I got some Core 17 P9411 High of 91352.8 Low of 86852 with client-type set to advanced.
Client Version Current, my HFM Site

I reverted to one driver back and all my problems are solved.

I wasnt able to assign slots manually, and the -1 index caused failure on one of the GPUS.

Really wish Stanford tried to work with Nvidia on this, multiple times this has happened.

    Hey guys,

Is there a way to trick the software into thinking you have an AMD card? I ask this because of what BC said about them not being able to run the core 15 units.
    Thanks in advance,
    T

When I stopped folding this month, I had one of the 780Ti's without a task.  I had not seen that before.  Are they running out of tasks?

Yep! The Core 15 Plague is back.
I drop from 1.4 million down to 23028 because of Core 15.
And to boot Wattage usage from 560 Watts to 800 Watts for Core 15.

Yep I stopped folding on the 970 yesterday because the 8018 units create unbelievable coil whine. Can't be in the same room.
