for me, osd works except framerate. 
I cant highlight gpu1 on menu, all i can highlight is system.

That's just 1 bug of 4 that I'm actively tracking.
 
There's actually even more-critical bugs that are interfering with my normal usage of the program: Just today, I installed AudioSurf, and wasn't surprised to see Precision X totally break the UI of the game, because it was interfering, even though OSD is turned off. Ugh.
 
Problems that should be fixed:
Problem: OSD is interfering with games, even when it is set to Off.
Problem: PrecisionX will crash after several days of consecutive use.
Problem: "FONT SIZE KEYBOARD LCD": Cannot get "Small Font" to work correctly. "Small Font" erroneously acts the same as "Medium Font".
Problem: "TEMPERATURE HYSTERESIS" is not working at all.

i have two questions, 
first : when wil the voltage work properly (not working normal for me)
second : is it possible that the GTX 980 classy gets led control? (i would love it)

Waiting on the new versions to not crash Guild Wars 2 myself. Had to go back to 4.2.1/afterburner with the new Nvidia driver 347.52.

I ruined my Precision X installation, now is solution only re-install of Windows.
When I want to install last Precision X 5.3.1 I got message newer version is installed but I have nothing in PC.
That's problem with Windows Installer probably Visual C++ or something else and easiest solution is re-install OS,
but I can't now because I have saved some games I afraid to destroy that.

System Restore never helped me when situation was serious only make mess and delete important things and never fix some mess in registry.
Because of that I turn off him. It's not to much ruined only from time to time I have problem with some installation... example ask disk or location of some file and similar stupidity and that what I need to install don't even need disk.

And I have nothing from Precision X, I delete all files but something go wrong and I delete manually and now everything stuck.
I can install but 4.2.1 version, new not. I tried to search in registry some traces of Precision X but no files.

Now that's only mistake during re-install software when I screw something.
With time and date everything is OK. I will fix after OS re-install.

After upgrade to 5.3.1 it stopped autostarting after reboot. Resetting the start with windows options adds nothing to the registry autostart keys:

I agree that they should fix the problem.
 
OSD off... should mean off! However, Precision X 16 v5.3.1 still somehow causes game problems (in iRacing and Hearthstone, for me)... even when OSD is set to off.
 
I've tried to get them to fix it, but so far, it hasn't worked.

Yeah, looks like I stepped in it as well - doing a OS install on a new SSD, figured, hey, I've been telling Precision "No" to updates for some time now, might as well grab the new version.
 
Nope! Seeing this thread, rapidly uninstalled 5.3.1 and reinstalled 4.2.1 from an archived backup. My fault, actually, for not checking the forums first and seeing what's what.
 
I'll check back periodically to see if it hits a stable, less bugged version, of course. I do like that Rivatuner was discarded, I didn't like the two programs approach anyway. Hopefully things will get worked out soon!

 Here is some of the issues that I have.
The Hot keys for the OSD is not working in Auto Sport, Borderlands2 and Pre-sequel or any other app as far as I can tell.
The exclude list does not always work and needs a way more extensive list of apps to ignore. All Microsoft Apps need to be excluded, like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Media Player, Movie Maker MS games like solitaire and so on, it causes random crashed in all these apps, is also annoying and the OSD hot key will not turn it off. It also intermittently crashes the NVidia console when the “Adjust image settings with preview” page is open. There is a long list that I have to exclude and re-exclude with each update.
 Sometimes the excluded items I added to the list will not stay past a reboot, so when this happens, you have to close PrecisionX and the server, open an Admin CMD Prompt and type “notepad” then point notepad to (C:\Program Files (x86)\EVGA\PrecisionX 16\Profiles ), follow the syntax format and add the EXE’s you need to exclude. This still doesn’t mean that it will always exclude it though as sometimes I am working with Word or Excel or PowerPoint and it will come on when I open a new Document or minimize/maximize, I have to close the doc and reopen it to make it go away and hope it doesn't crash first.
 Just a thought, if you move the profiles folder location to the ProgramData folder you should not need such high privileges to write to the file.
Also it might be easier to detect what apps you want on the OSD as the list would be shorter and cause less problems with unwanted apps getting the overlay.
 F1 2014, Upon fresh install of PrecisionX the first time I start the game F1 2014 it will not start, it is running in the task manager, so I kill F1 2014 EXE, then the game immediately starts but the OSD is gone, shut down the game only to find the EVGA PrecisionX Server has crashed and will not restart without a reboot of the PC. After the reboot F1 2014 will work and not crash anymore and the OSD will work 80% of the time until installing a fresh (updated) version of PrecisionX and I have to repeat process.
 Dying Light no OSD at all.
