Once again I am working on a computer for a friend and they are of course one of those digital packrats that have 10 email accounts in outlook each with 50 folders.
One would think that the process would be simple. Export everything to pst's, import everything on the new machine and tell it not to import duplicates.
Nope, duplicates galore, messages missing, folder structure messed up, and PST file not the same size as the original.
Every...single...time I work with outlook, unless its a full exchange environment, problems just spring out of the ground. Anyone have a rock solid process for backing up and restoring outlook emails. What am I missing that this has to be such a hassle every time I am asked to do it.
