Are you saving the settings in the BIOS before you exit?

in the bios, the settings are 2400/ 1.65 V/ 11-13-13-31. on my x58 there was a fsb dram ratio setting you could adjust. I have not found it. Wish I had purchased evga approved Ram.

1200 MHz (bus frequency) in CPU-Z is 2400 MHz DDR memory frequency.

+1 Everything looks fine based on your settings. This is my CPU-Z for memory on my X58 at roughly 1675mhz:

So I guess I should not worry about dram frequency and just set memory to max on my my Ram?

Right. The DRAM frequency, as tyger mentioned, is measuring your memory bus, not the effective speed of the ram. Because it's DDR (double-data rate) RAM, it runs at twice the speed of the memory bus. In other words, if 2400 is your max, you're already there.

just wanting more is all. In CPu-Z the SPD tab has the max bandwidth @ 667mhz can that be raised?

The SPD tab is probably not reading the memory correctly. It may be reading one of the JEDEC profiles on the memory, rather than your XMP profile.
