GTX 980 HC "pause" during gaming

Did anyone ever find a fix for this issue?  Mine in particular is I'll start gaming and anywhere from two minutes to an hour into the game, everything freezes (sound continues) both monitors go blank.  Then they "reboot" and I'm back to game action.  Usually about a 2-3 pause, usually doesn't kill me in game.  But I have been in a completely different area of the map.  I'm running the latest driver 347.09.
 
The rest of the machine is i7 5820, 16 Corsair RAM, and the GTX 980 HC.  No OC on the machine.
 
Let me know if a fix was found by anyone or if we're still just waiting for nVidia to stop their AMD imitation and get us a solid driver.

    I've had the same problem even with a 780 HC and none of the drivers I've tried has fixed this yet.

    Are your drivers crashing? 347.09 isn't the latest driver, that driver is from December. Give 347.52 a try.

    Yes, I'm running 347.52.  In ME3 on line, not much of an issue.  Just started playing BL presequel and it crashes all the time.  Mostly fatal.  Really upsetting that we are experiencing these types of problems this far into the launch.

    What X99 Motherboard do you have and what is the Bios Number Memory Corsair/Model
    What are your Bios Settings that is are you doing any Overclocking?
    Any BSOD Code Numbers?
    What other games do you have and do they also error out?
    What has the Games Web Site Forum say about this error?
    On the Driver 347.52 did you update the current or did you do a Clean Driver Install.
    On the Install what did you install?
    Are you using EVGA Precision X and what version are you running and what are your settings?

    I'll dig all of this out for you in the morning.  I have two monitors, one HDMI and one Display port.  I have found that if I unplug the display port monitor, the problem pretty much goes away...

    This one has gotten stranger.  I also have a wireless gaming mouse, the G700.  I have plugged it in as well as the other monitor and no crashes, none.  So it was the mouse in wireless mode, not the monitors or drivers or video card.  Go figure.
