Cannot play BF4 if EVGA Precision X is open, running in taskbar, or present in any way.
I have to completely close Precision X if I want to play Battlefield 4 .

BF4 appears to be bloated beyond the aspect ration.
I just see the top left portion of the game, the rest is off screen.

I "can" however get BF4 to run in windowed mode or windowed-borderless mode while Precision X is running.

Thanks for any tips, I really appreciate it.

BF4 Battlefield 4 Precision X EVGA 5.2.5 5.2.6

If you start precision after BF4 it doesn't happen, but it is a known issue. Hopefully they get the issue worked out eventually.

Just make sure the map is loaded before opening Precision.  That has seemed to fix the issue for me.

Definitely not a singular issue. This is a well known problem that they are trying to work out.

I'd like to see EVGA on here admitting it is an issue.   Rather than say it is fixed in 5.2.4.

have the same problem.....with both on,battlefield seems to go into a fat version....odd screen rez....and I just got the EVGA 750ti FTW...wonderful card but Precision X 16 really sucks...hard to figure it out....went back to the cd version of it 4.2.1....works fine again with both it on and battlefield...

That's strange. I have no problems running Battlefield 4 with Precision X. I actually have Precision X start with PC always going strong.

This issue no longer exists for me in BF4 after latest update. 5.3.0
However, when I played the BF Hardline BETA the problem existed.

Issue is back, maybe it only happens sometimes, I don't know. Maybe the new update messed it up again.

Umm, you mean when Unwinder quit. He refused to provide support or updates for his software, isolated himself from EVGA, and threatened to rip up his contract if bothered. Walking away from something is quitting.

Unwinder went above and beyond what he was contracted to do adding features for free. I say he was dumped.

Say whatever you want. But the fact is that he quit. He did go above and beyond and he did feel offended some times. And that is why he quit. He refused to provide support for his product for about a year. He refused to provide updates or additional requested features for about 3/4 of a year. And, he threatened to rip up his contract if EVGA bothered him.

When you walk away from something and tell your employer to not bother you, that is quitting. Regardless of why he quit, he quit.

The problem is still there..for me at least....I couldn't get BF: Hardline to work right until I noticed it was Precision X causing the problem...sounds like it's the same problem since the beta.

Can anyone verify if Afterburner works well with Battlefield Hardline?

One of the many reasons I still use Precision 4.2.1
The last version fails incredibly. It gives me BSOD during 3ds Max renders, it gives me 2 fps in Battlefield4 and as soon as I turn it off - everything works well. I have GeForce 660TI
I'm sorry, but version 5 is really crappy.

4.2.1 was the last version created by Unwinder (creator of msi afterburner)

All newer versions of precision are created in-house by evga. Unwinder still creates new versions of msi afterburner.
