I have had the "two way" SLI Bridge on backorder for awhile now, will they ever come back in stock or is it wishful thinking on my part?

I feel like any question not pertaining to Kingpin 980's will be met with crickets.

It may be wishful thinking at this point.

Which ones did you order? Short or long (part number 21 or 22?)

Ordered from B&H awhile back and I looked everywhere to see if they were in stock #100-2w-0021-LR(2 Way),they show that I could "special order"..whatever that means...the 3/2way bridge. When I inquire on when the 2ways will be back in stock they tell me soon.I should of clarified that I ordered from B&H.

Don't know what they're working on but it would nice to have something new that will work on the newer 970 cards but maybe that is wishful thinking.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Some kind of power not relegated to the cards. But now that you mention it a 3 pin fan connector for power would make more sense.

If I remember, and someone please correct me, that the power for the sli bridge is very small, and does not take away from the card

Not wrong but for whatever reason 970's aren't supported on the current models. External power as an option would allow the shining logo on any card.

Really that is interesting. Are they not supported by any sli bridge or just evga? Maybe thats why EVGA is making a new bridge.

Well,my question to whether the 2way bridge will come back in stock is still in limbo...I feel like I just paid for a big bowl of linguini and clams and have waited...and waited and when I inquire to where is my bowl.....I am told the chef is "working on something".

I'd wager it has to do with the massive import/export pile up in Long Beach, what with the dock workers' slow down and looming strike since May. Same with a lot of late new tech, like the months late Razer H440's. I can tell you right now they weren't late because they couldn't get the right shade of green for the usbs.

I kept my order at B%H and ordered another directly through EVGA so I would have a spare,I know it's petty but really dig the EVGA logo glowing on my bridge.

NOT meaning to hijack this thread but my Asus X-99 Deluxe requires slots 1 and 3 for full GEN 3 16X function in SLI and that means 60 mm between the SLI contacts of both GTX 980's -- can anyone confirm that the distance between contacts of the older EVGA SLI LED bridges to be 60mm as I think it is???  (AND that the newer EVGA SLI bridges are 80 mm between contacts on the 2X SLI bridges) -- hopefully they will be in stock soon (the 60mm version).  ALSO, I am new to NVIDIA -- having always used Radeon GPU's -- does it matter which contact set on the cards is used for SLI -- the outside one or the inner set of contacts for 2-way SLI?  Thanks

I love the look of the current SLI bridges, but given NVIDIA have their own and EVGA are making new ones unofficially, I'm definitely curious :)

I have the asus rampage v extreme x99 and also have 100-2w-0021-LR which has the 60MM spacing, and assure you that its not long enough for our setups on x99, my previous Z77 it was fine for, but this sli bridge doesn't cut it for the  config on this new board.

However, and I haven't measured to be sure yet, but I believe that the 3 way pro sli bridge might be able to make the reach for what we need, I might drop the money from a retailer online to get one and find out, I cant stand this cheap, flimsy, boring bridge that im stuck using now.

Yes, the 3 way bridge is spaced 0-40-80mm where the two way bridges are offered in 0-40 or 0-60mm Only. The 3 way bridges matches slots 1 and 4 which is 80mm spacing. No measurements needed, that is the exact lengths.
