I'm about to purchase a ROG Swift monitor alongside my tri-SLI 4GB GTX 980 Hydro Coppers, and, I see it's on sale at both Best Buy and Newegg for $799.

Which place should I purchase it from? I'm kind of terrified of buying anything from Best Buy, but, I'm clueless about Newegg's customer service. Could I get some input on which company I should utilize?

Thanks!

I'd buy it from newegg, that is where I purchased mine at. My credit card info got stolen when I ordered something from best buy the last time I purchased something from them, had charges on my account for like 3K for some computer stuff that I never ordered.

NEWEGG   , even though they have been getting worse of late, they are still far better than "Worst BUY' ....

If prices are exactly the same, I'd go with Best Buy for the simple fact that it may be easier to return it if something goes wrong. I can't recall a bad experience at Best Buy, myself, but I've also had many good experiences with Newegg.

On the other hand, if it's an online only deal, I'd probably lean towards Newegg.

I purchased mine at Newegg. I'm nervous because I've seen quite a few posts about dead pixels. I will freak the hell out if there are dead pixels. :<

    I made a dumb.

I got my ROG Swift today, and I don't have anything to test it on. My current GPU's are 580 hydro coppers. I get my x3 980 hydro coppers in a month. :/

Now I REALLY hope there aren't any dead pixels.

    You guys seen this?

I'm concerned because most people on that thread had their problems appear after a few months of usage. I've had mine for two and a half months now and it's working fine. Hopefully it stays that way.

EDIT: Just noticed there's an "owners club" thread for the SWIFT, so maybe I should've posted this there, but I guess this thread is more active anyway. lol

I've been using mine daily since the end of August (5 months) without a single issue if that makes you feel any better...
