This is most likely caused by the motherboard BIOS not supporting the UEFI BIOS that's loaded on the 750 ti. Try disabling secure boot and booting in legacy mode.

I'm having a similar problem with my Gateway DX4870.

I updated the bios and when I install the card, I get a black screen and a beep every few seconds.

I don't appear to have a secure boot option in my bios Security tab, just the option to make passwords.
Says "Version 2.14.1219. Copyright (C) 2002-2012, Acer Inc." at the bottom of the bios screen.

    Thanks

There won't be an option for legacy mode, as your motherboard will not support UEFI.  Unfortunately, the 750 Ti is not compatible with that system, as the motherboards chosen by most OEM's for its Windows 7 systems do not recognize cards with a UEFI BIOS.

Bottom line is that you'll have to either swap the card for a card without a UEFI BIOS (and likely upgrade the power supply, as well) or swap out the motherboard for a retail motherboard of the same type.

    Thanks Noric.
I'm looking at replacing it with the GTX 650 Ti

You'll probably have to upgrade the power supply for that card, but it should be compatible.
