    If he doesn't I do have one. It's for the old GTX 970 SSC not the new GTX 970 SSC+

    OK, still unable to send PM, I have to be a member since 5 days, and counter shows I am member since seconds ago..

    I have checked the costs of shipping, if you can send the backplate as a letter (letter size envelope) then it only costs around $10, if you send it as a package, it is a lot more, like $40-$50 which is quite expensive.

    That's nice of them. I keep hearing more and more good things about EVGA. I wish I knew EVGA longer... I only started dealing with their products since 2-3 months and I am impressed.

    I am very satisfied with EVGA's customer service, didn't really think they will provide me with a free backplate.
    All they have asked was a scan from the invoice as I have bought my card back in 2014 September.
    EVGA is absolutely nr. 1 in my book now!

    Yes, it should fit, except the SSC+ which has a longer board design.
    I have also contacted EVGA in the meantime, and they have promised to provide me with a free backplate. Thank you for your reply anyway.
