Can't get OSD to work with dying light any ideas ? Works fine in every other game I have...

Hi,
I switched from the Precision X 4.2.1 to the Precision X 16
Probably the programmers aren't the same guys of the previous software.
The app totally changed, I preferred the first one because the config was more Windows friendly. I don't understand why you changed it.
BTW...
Because I own a lot of EVGA cards to do Cuda renders, I set up all my G-Series Logitech keyboards to display temperatures, memory, fan speed, etc.
Now the keyboard osd can't visualize all the previous infos because the fonts are too big. If switch from medium to small nothing changes. I can see changes only If I switch from medium to large. The small font doesn't work.
Also in the previous version (X 4.2.1) I was able to scroll very fast all the data on the display using the buttons below the Logitech display. Now of I press the scroll button the data scroll extremely slow.
Please check it.

If you read, the guy that made 4.2.1 and all other versions prior to that refused to update past 4.2.1, and EVGA took the time to recreate Precision to incorporate new features. They have been updating it since it came out and making improvements, but it is nowhere near perfect, since there is someone doing this that is probably figuring it out along the way and doing his best. If 4.2.1 works best, stick with it. If you can help them improve the software, feel free, but they know about the issue so far, so it is only a matter of time before they get it figured out.

I have to agree 100% with this guy, the new PrecisonX sucks for the G15 LCD readout, I use the Legacy PrecisonX 4.2.1 w/ Rivatuner OSD, my G15 keyboard displays everything cpu, gpu, etc in the correct fonts. The new PrecisonX does not work at all with the Logitech updated Software. I see this as a step backwards for EVGA, being the no. 1 Nvidia vendor, I would think they would listen to the community a little more.

Hi,
there is a bug on the 2-3 latest versions and when I boot my system the fan speed is N/A and the slider is stuck all the way up (if Ι reboot the problem disappears).
Due to display driver crashes (some short of h/w incompatibility) I am forced to have KBOOST on all the time and I think that this the setting causing the problem.

Can someone post a picture of the LCD readout? I am considering getting one next time I purchase a keyboard, so I can monitor temps without having to wake the sleep screen for my computers that fold.

Here's what I had mine set to in v4.2.1: Link ... and I believe that Precision X 16 v5.x version of the small font will actually look better, since they now do not use a fixed-width font. Also, fyi, I believe that when the computer is locked, the keyboard display stops updating, for security reasons. Regards, Jacob Klein

I never lock my computer since I live alone, have a secure room, and it is strictly for Folding. There is nothing else on that computer. I don't even put personal info on it at all.

It's enabled for me, and I also use Windows 8.1. Prior to installing 5.2.9, I uninstalled the previous version and then cleanly installed 5.2.9. Seemed to work fine. It may be an issue with the PrecisionX server.

Are you sure that you're installing 5.2.9? 5.2.9 came out a day or so after 5.2.8, so it's possible you might still have the older version.
