Hello, I have a bad driver in which I get 30-40 fps with my GTX 970 + 8GB OF RAM + AMD A10-7850K CPU. I get 40-50 fps on Battlefield 4 at 1080p on low. It uses only a fraction of it's GPU power at 40% in game. This is the same as my EVGA GTX 660...
NOTE : I'm planning on upgrading my MB and CPU to an INTEL I7 4790K, will this help?
ALSO: Will Nvidia fix this anytime soon, and for those of you who don't have this issue, what driver(s) are you using?

Fix what? You're using a low end system with a high end video card

Are you sure BF4 isn't using your intregrated gpu?

I get ~90+ FPS on Battlefield 4 all on ultra with the EVGA GTX 970 FTW + 8gb of ram + an i5-4460. MrImSoGood might be right in that you're being bottlenecked.

You should upgrade your CPU,and if you are playing games like BF4 you dont really need i7,it would be better but i5 also will do just fine.I'm using i5-4690k with EVGA GTX970 ACX2.0 and I'm getting avg 80-100 fps on BF4 on ultra ,4xMSAA and 1080p

There is nothing to fix other than your hardware choice. You have a high performance video card with a low performance computer. The high performance video card doesn't make your computer high performance all on its own. ;)

Being an owner of 2 AMD builds & 2 Intel builds, one using an FX-6100, and one using an FX-8350 & intel systems using a 2500K & 3570K. I know he should not be seeing NEAR that level of bottleneck! My system with the lower end FX-6100 @4.0Ghz paired with a GTX 760, plays BF4 on mostly high/ultra high settings and is smooth as butter usually always above 60FPS. I am sorry people I know first hand their is NO WAY he is only getting 40-50FPS on LOW settings with a GTX 970. On the same system with the fx-6100, I use to have a GTX 550Ti in that box. On medium-low settings, on Zavod 311 64-man, I averaged about 50FPS....and hardly ever did it dip below 30FPS. If you would like for me to prove you AMD haters wrong I'll gladly throw one of my GTX 970's in that box with the FX-6100 and run some benchmarks on Ultra high. Yes it will give a little bottleneck, but not one like the OP described. Unless BF4 is using your APU to render everything, which would be a totally different story. But with your 970 Installed your motherboard should automatically detect & use it as the display/rendering device. P.S. OP, the latest Nvidia Drivers are flawless for me and tons of others so far. Nvidia is not at fault here.

Do you have DSR enabled? What size monitor are you playing on? You didn't give enough information to give you any help. Unfortunately.

Generally I get 120+ FPS with Ultra but I also use settings that to ME make the game look much better @ 1920x1080 21.5" 60Hz monitor. i turn off AA post and Deferred.

I think the a10 series AMD chips would bottleneck this card.
there is only one test for this and that is to run the game and log your CPU utilization. If any core is maxing out throughout the game then you know you have a bottleneck.
I always use msi afterburner and riva statistics tuner to see what kind of system utilization I am getting.
