Right now i have 2x240 standard swiftech rads in pushpull and 1x120 also in push pull, my ? is would i get get better cooling out of 2x thickness rads with single fans,or with my current push pull setup? I have to do standard maintance on my rig( new coolant, good cleaning) and i figured if i have to take it appart anyway why not improve if poss. I have corsair 540 air case and could fit a 60mm in the front and a 60mm in the top but oonly in push or pull config, not push/pull.

This is all opinion, but I never do any set up but push/pull. I have gotten very good temps this way. Again, this is opinion, as there is a good argument for not doing that. You will still need to clean regularly even with proper filtering, but I have had good success with my temps with either thin or thick radiators in the push/pull configuration. The thick rads are nice, as this gives you more surface area to expel heat, but are not required if the fan static pressure is good. What fans are you currently using? Hope this helps and good luck with that dubious task of cleaning and maintenance, as that is one of the necessary evils with owning a custom or any computer.

Push/Pull All The Way.
Myself
CPU: Reservoir/Pump - Radiator - CPU - Radiator - Reservoir/Pump
GPU: Reservoir/Pump - Radiator - CPU - Radiator - Reservoir/Pump
New for me will be:
Reservoir/Pump - Radiator - CPU - Radiator - GPU - GPU - Radiator - Reservoir/Pump

But as Grey_Beard Above States "This is all Opinion"

right now im using corsair sp 120 high performance. So keep the setup i currently have, cus if i go thicker on the rads i wont be able to keep push pull.

I'd add more rads instead of more fans.  I personally don't even have any fans mounted on my four 420 rads except a single 180mm fan which stays off until water temps hit 30C.

More rads not an option, unless I go external, no my ? Was am I better off w slimmer rads in push/ pull or thicker rad in push. Greybeard and BC both thought push/ pull was better so I just went ahead and changed the fluid and dusted everything real well. P.S. temps at load went down 3degrees! Not sure if the new fluid( swiftech green) or lack of dust( or both) get the credit but overall worth the 2hours and $24 invested in the project. Thnx for the input.

What you are asking- the slimmer rads with push/pull without a doubt.  Best case would be thicker rad with push/pull.  Though most tests with thicker rads do not show much improvement in single or push/pull.  The most improvement with thicker rad will be in push/pull at higher cfm.

I guess instead of helpfull reply i should have put answered. I stayed w my slim rad push\pull cuz i dnt have room for thick rad in push/pull.

The push/pull will assist in keeping temps down and a thick radiator is not necessary. If that is all that fits, that is fine. I have one dual loop with thin radiators on one rig and two dual loops with thick ones on two other rigs. The temps are very similar. Just make sure the total amount of radiators (total mm) equals 120mm for each block on the loop, as a rule of thumb. 2 blocks - one CPU one GPU - 240mm of total radiator length, 3 blocks - 360mm, and so on.

Moving to OCB section.

For what it's worth, I generally had trouble with temps using Swiftech rads, whether single fans or push/pull.  I haven't had the same issues with thicker rads, like HW Labs or Feser, regardless of which fan orientation used.  What I found to work best for Swiftech was just high CFM fans.  Bear in mind, though, it's been about 5 years since I used Swiftech rads.

Go with the HWLabs Nemesis GTX with a single set of decent fans if you can. Swiftech hasn't updated their rads in a long time.

Well, I think he already has the rads and fans at this point; it was just a matter of orientation for the fans, and he's also limited by the size of the case.

But, man, those are some nice looking radiators.

Aside from the looks, they are great performers too: http://thermalbench.com/2015/01/05/hardwarelabs-black-ice-nemesis-480gtx/

But yeah, if you already have the equipment then don't bother.
