    I got a 240 for that price last month. Well, 240GB for $80 and a $10 newegg gift card.
    It will happen.

    Maybe not the top end ssd like samsung 3d type and such. But the 840s and others sure i can see being cheaper.

    Here's hoping that will happen. With the dollar (currency trading) getting stronger I don't know if that will have an effect on pricing.

    I see quite a few sales of around @ $100-ish now ... so that's not too big of a leap.
     
    Typically the SSD's are running 1/2 the cost for the gigs / ratio now before sales --  here's to a continued drop

    Dropped in 2 Samsung 850 EVO 250GBs into a rig this last weekend. They were $109 each.
     
    30% price adjustment is in fact a big deal.

    Totally believable!  Many of us early adopters paid a premium.  Over the last 3-4 years, the prices have steadily dropped.  This is a GREAT thing for many who have not tried it yet.  SSD makes a major difference!  I hope a lot of people give it a try.

    Probably never. By the time they go down to 100, inflation will cause 125 dollars to be the new 100.
