new release....SAME garbage software, ready to throw out EVGA . "NEW" software still opens BF4 40 times larger, unable to play. Same garbage crap as all the other releases. When will EVGA hire programmers that that know what they are doing???

Hi Jacob. I have been having issues with previous versions where my mouse cursor would disappear in game. I would have to revert back to version 15 and had no issues. Is this bug fixed with this version?

Which game and this happens only with OSD enabled?

This happens with diablo 3 RoS. I did have odd enabled.

how do i get the password to get the classified skin with this new version?
kinda strange i cant jus tuse the skin.

when i installed the new update it gave me a new icon on my desktop called skin tool so i clicked on it saw there was a classified skin finally. i have a 780ti classified so i wanted to use the skin. clicked on it to use it asks for a password. classifiedX.uxf is what i click on and it says enter password. i tried to put up a screen shot but the forum wouldnt let me. something about it being 500k

Why would a password be necessary for a skin for a GPU tweak application?
 

A password is needed to extract the skin.  All the previous versions -- including version 4.2.1 -- also required the correct password to extract skins.  The skin's password is specified by the skin's author when the skin is compiled.  This is done so that a skin author can maintain exclusive control over the base images and resources which comprise the skin.
 
I am sure that EVGA will let the password be known if they wish for people to have access to the skin's base resources.  Otherwise, I am guessing that EVGA will release a generic base skin with known password for people to work off of without compromising the exclusivity of their custom full-featured skins.

This release has bugs. When opening up the fan curve window - I get no -x- to close the window after making my selections. This could be due to my 4K monitor, I don't know......

Believe it or not, that's probably working as designed. You need to hit the back button or the next settings button, for that dialog to disappear. I am not a fan of this type of UI at all.

Various bug fixes is not very specific....does this address the issue of WMP/VLC become unstable if precisionX is running regardless of settings?
 
Edit: Thank you for the timely update, however. It is appreciated regardless.
 
Double Edit: Seems the answer to my question is no. Will continue using older versions until fixed.

Bug found in this version with 4 GTX 980 HC Cards
I the bug is the GPU Clock & the MEM Clock Offset Sliders do not work.
Removed 5.8.2 and returned to 5.7.2 and the Sliders work fine.

Hi. With the 5.2.8 release, I can't adjust the clock offsets on my 780ti. There are no Mhz readings at all on those lines and any attempts at clicking and dragging the offset bar for either GPU or memory offsets merely results in dragging the whole PrecisionX window. The bars for power target and GPU temp target work fine. 5.2.7 worked fine in this regard...

So I see you have the same issue that I did on my GTX 980 HC Cards.

So I see you have the same issue that I did on my GTX 980 HC Cards.

I have the same issue here. No MHz readings for either GPU. The GPU clock and Memory clock offset are also blank. I initially thought it was due to me using slightly different GPUs (see below). Reverting back to 5.2.7 and these issues are resolved.
 
With 5.2.8, I also noticed that any settings entered to display on the OSD or within the tray icons , e.g. GPU temperature, FPS, Fan speed etc. would not be saved. 5.2.7 does not have this issue either.
 
I am using an older Nvidia driver, 344.48.
 
My GPUs are installed in the following configuration (SLI is not enabled):
 
Primary GPU (slot closest to CPU): EVGA Geforce GTX Titan
Secondary GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX Titan Black SC
 
My single LCD screen is connected to the DVI-D port of the GTX Titan (i.e. the primary GPU mentioned above).

I'm having the same issue. I can't see or adjust the GPU clock offset or the Mem Clock offset. I tried typing in the numbers but it wouldn't accept them. Any word on a fix yet?

We are looking into this, will report back ASAP.
