I have this video card, with two monitors hooked up to it with DVI cables. The card also has a mini HDMI port. If I connect an HDTV to that port, what will happen? Will the TV act as a third display with audio? I'd like to know if this will work before I go buy a TV and HDMI cable.

The 570 only supports 2 monitors max. Your system will detect 3 monitors connected, but you will only be able to have 2 active at a time.

Thanks, so to clarify, does that mean if I unplug one of the DVI connected monitors that I can use the HDMI connected TV as a second screen?

That would work, but unplugging one should not be necessary. If you are using windows, you should be able to select which two screens you want enabled.

I understand now, thank you for your help!
Edit: I did come up with another question: What about audio? Does the mini HDMI port on my card also send audio from the sound card?

You would be able to send sound through the mini-HDMI on the card. To do so, you will need to ensure that your audio drivers for your card are installed.
