Well I am young (26 years old) and I think that music is better than most the crap my generation has out today! I love heavy metal and hardcore true rock. Rock on brotha!!!

I tend to like music like this as well:

Hell Yea! Tbh most of the music today sucks so bad. I am so jealous of my dad, he went to the last concert that Led Zeppelin had before their drummer died(?). I wish I could go back 20-30 years for the old REALLY music!!!

It is like most music today even the voice is fake or better said enhanced by electronics.

I'm 50 and i'm not sure we will ever see the type of great artists like we did when we were young there were just so many great bands.  Like Heart for instance .....

Still the best shows I was at was Nirvana, @ the Commodore in '91 and @ the Forum in '94, Metallica @ Thunderbird Stadium in '94, and the Foo Fighters @ the Coliseum in '08. All real unfiltered rock. Those performance were all special to me and I will never forget them.

Not from the shows I was at because there is no good video/audio that I can find.

1995...  Guns N Roses, Metallica and Faith No More Tour...  7+ hrs of madness!!

Nothing like that will come along again.  Most "bands" these days don't even have instruments!!

Lol, I actually have Night Prowler as my ringtone on my phone. Did you hear that they pulled Malcolm outta the band cause hes stricken with demetia so bad. They have his son replacing him now. Pretty sad and crappy. Anyway, im 39 and grew up a hair down to my ass bass playing metal head and ill always be that. My wife says im a music snob cause I hate pretty much all the music they try to force down our throats anymore and im super critical of all the bands out there cause, tbh, its not just that they aren't that imaginative but they just don't really have the talent and chops like years ago.

I am stuck in the 90's. I can't stand most of today's music. With guitar hero, garage band and all the technology today, it's not even a big deal for someone to be in a band. Back in my day, music meant something. When you saw a concert, there was no auto-tune and it wasn't some 17 year old punk kid that just learned fast double bass and blast beats on his drums with some I-learned-everything-I know-on-youtube last week guy playing guitar with some little jerk screaming inaudible garbage wearing eyeliner.

Let's keep this topic rather narrow.  We already have a thread to post music videos here - http://forums.evga.com/What-Are-You-Listening-To-m1491608.aspx.

Discuss the topic, but this thread should not become a thread to just post a bunch of videos - even to illustrate a point - as we already have a thread for that.

I don't really want to lock the thread, as it is a different topic.  Instead, keep it more on the discussion side, and less on the embedding-videos side.  If you want to link a video or two off-site in your post to improve the discussion, that's fine, but keep the embedding to the other thread.

Most importantly, the TOS still applies, even if you're linking off-site.

Ozzy and Black Sabbath are still on my to do list

got to see them at Alpine Valley with Marilyn Manson and Pantera in 97. Great show other than Manson getting run off stage mid act

All time periods/generations have good and bad music, i like older music and stuff that comes out now.

True. However, I feel like music over the last 15 years is mostly awful. I can listen to older music from genres that i'm not a huge fan of but not the newer stuff. Example, compare pop from the 70's to stuff today like Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj, yeah no thanks. Most of the good stuff today is underground.
