Hello, I have EVGA GeForce GTX970 Superclocked (04G-P4-1972-KR) card and I purchased the EK-FC970 GTX waterblock. I'm wondering if I can install it without voiding the card's warranty? Thank you

As long as you do not physically damage your card, it will not void the warranty.

:-) make sure you save every piece you remove though, because if you RMA, you have to reinstall the original cooler and make sure it is all put back together. That is the only stipulations really.

Thank you! That's what i was hoping as it is the reason I looked at EVGA over other manufacturers.

They are winners in this category.
I know a user installed a waterblock on his card a few days ago, and needed to RMA. They told him he owned a paperweight since he installed the Waterblock... That is a terrible think for a company to say in my eyes. It's one of the things that will keep my eyes with EVGA.

Just confirming what Scarlet-Tech said. We won't void your warranty if you put a waterblock or aftermarket cooler as long as you don't physically damage the card. If you do lose the cooler or screws, let us know and we can work with you, but it's best to keep them someplace safe in case you do need to RMA.

i had the same question. i'm so glad I went with EVGA! there is literally no reason to even look at other manufacturers anymore.

i was second guessing my 980 ti classy purchase and looking at the 980 ti strix until i noticed a little white warranty sticker on one of the rear screws of the asus card. then looked at msi 980 ti frozr (golden and regular) and noticed the same sticker. looks like i dodged a bullet, and a restocking fee, there. but it never use to be this way. i had msi and asus cards in the past and they didn't have any warranty seals. oh well, their loss.
