It's kinda cool but at the same time not all that impressive considering they're using some of the best pilots in the world. It would be really impressive if they did Blue Angel stunts. Let's see one do a barrel roll lol.

Flying in formation isn't a 'wild airplane stunt' when birds have been doing it forever.  For me, a stunt requires steep maneuvers or even going upside down, like the first Dash 80 (pre-Boeing 707) barrel-roll display.

For Intel processors, 0.122 x TDP = Continuous Amps at 12v [source].

Let us know when you come across a 1.5 Billon Dollar Bird.
That 707 was made by parts from Area 51, bet you did not know that.

I wonder how the pilots felt and dealt with the wake turbulence.

Five A350's in formation; we aren't talking about one $1,500,000,000 machine.  Only the American military has even had aircraft that expensive, i.e. B-2 flying wing bomber was 2.5 Billion.

Bet you bite a chip; remember which TV commercial that line came from?

Considering the airbus was considered to replace the b52, not as delusional ad one might think. In the end the funds went to the f22 and f35 and the b52 life was extended from 75 years to 150 if i remember right.

Too much politics there for Boeing to lose out to EADS. Only other one that would really have a chance at a bid would be LM. EADS making a US bomber is about as plausible as Russia making one. Recently they even pulled a B-52 out of AMARC back into active duty. The depot at Oklahoma City is totally rebuilding them one at a time.

If we consider inflation, then the retired Concorde would have pushed 500 million in today's dollars for what would now be classified as a supersonic regional jet by capacity and range, making the speed an expensive gimmick.  But I loved the plane so much that I refuse to see it in a museum before a successor flies.

Chip's Ahoy, it was a slogan of to prove that there were plenty of chocolate chips in cookies back then.
