No. Memory size needs to match.

Heavy Hemi, do you represent EVGA?
Thanks, I'm not convinced but I'll hold off for now.
    I am getting conflicting opinions.
A very reputable source says they will work together along with the MHZ/boosts/clocks etc. but he is not an EVGA tech either. He does build the most amazing machines you ever saw though.
Regardless, I am not going to spend a penny until an EVGA rep confirms I can do it.
It's funny how I can get a faster response from a gaming forum.
Perhaps EVGA was the wrong manufacturer choice.
    I've been building since 1997.
This is the first time I've used EVGA.
Maybe I should go back to the tried and true. No offence.

Read the nvidia requirements on the nvidia site, and it states and gpu must match. It doesn't take an EVGA rep to confirm that part.

"There are also very few restrictions regarding what GPUs can be grouped together in SLI: only the model and memory amounts have to match ."

    Nvidia's word.

There are some driver hacks that you can use to get some mismatched GPU's or even some motherboards that do not officially support SLI to work. However, they are not officially supported and require running the OS in test mode and mismatched memory amounts are generally the most problematic to get stable. Here's a very long thread on it and different iterations of software to attempt to run mismatched GPUs.

Thanks guys. That is what I needed. A bit more than a one liner is greatly appreciated.
