I am having issue where my GPU temp target setting doesn't work sometimes. I have my temp set to 75C however the graphics card doesn't always follow that setting. Once in a while it just goes up to 80C or higher. Is there a way to fix this? I have a GTX 970.

    Welcome to the forums RomanK,

Make sure that Precision X is set to run at start up as well, that can be found in the settings under General.  The other thing you can do is set the priority to Temperature by clicking on the arrow between power and temperature.

Also, be sure that your fan isn't set to a static value either.

    Erik,

Thanks for a speedy reply. I already had everything set as you mentioned but I'm not quite sure what you mean by static value.

You can have Precision X run your GPU fans at one speed the whole time, which is what I was referring to with static.  It won't change from what you set it at and continue to run at that speed.
