I'm interesting with Intel Core i7-4790K Processor on amazon, I've read many reviews, but I still not satisfied with it.
Anyone can give me more reviews?
I saw it at amazon here
and also need an advise
thanks

Hi, that's good CPU and Turbo is pretty high...4.4GHz...
4770K couldn't reach so much sometimes in normal temps...
At this moment that's fastest Intel in single thread...
Only CPU cost almost as i7-5820K and Extreme is 30% more expensive but better option.
Optimization for more than 4 cores in games start and in future will be more and more such situations and DDR4 compatibility.
I mean Intel Xtreme could work and with DDR3 and DDR4 but they decide to work only with DDR4

Some power supplies may not be Haswell compatible. A Thermaltake PS will not start my new build unless I turn on the PS switch while holding down the power button. Will be replacing it with a Corsair HX.

If you choose CORSAIR you can look and for AX760 or AX860...
But HX850 cost 140$, same price is EVGA 850 G2 on Newegg but little better score, longer warranty, Eco Mode Switch can disable fan completely, full modular, sleeve set, and EVGA G2/P2 are compatibile and ready for 4th Generation Intel Haswell Processors.
I'm not sure ...Is it HX series full modular? I think no... and connectors on PSU I don't like at all.
TPU put EVGA 750 G2 on the top of the list best performance for price of all, and you know what Johnny Guru say about them.
    The Bad: Nothing.
Even price is not high as most others units with same quality.

I think because some older PSU are not capable to deliver such small power as Haswell need in lowest power state.
I don't know how much power Haswell need than but something very little. He is very good for laptops, HTPC.
OK 4790K is excellent and for desktop special when you enable Turbo but enthusiast more look performance improvements than efficient hardware.
EVGA PSU almost all models are compatible, maybe even all.
This is important, than PSU is compatible.

It is the idle power. Older PSU are not capable of delivery lower voltage to the CPU, and end up overcharging it and causing damage during idle.

Yes Haswell need 0.05A in idle... that's nothing.
1/10 of power need for previous processors and they need only half amp.
Sometimes depend of motherboard BIOS help if Processor constantly work in high performance.
Biggest problems is because some people had problems and with power supplies compatible with Haswell.
