Hi i just got the EVGA Z97 Classified and i am trying to install my windows 7 pro os. My problem is i cannot figure out how to switch the boot priority to cd/dvd drive in the bios. I went to boot options and put the dvd/cd drive at #1 but it still booted up threw my ssd. I should also note that i'm using an ssd that has windows 7 home premium loaded on it But i now have win 7 pro 64 bit disc + key so i'm trying to do a fresh install of that. Please let me know what to do. Thanks.

Do a secure erase on the SSD, or if you have another PC you can use, connect it to that and format it just to get started.

Try F8 (I think) to select boot options, I think it is.

If I were you I'd do an UEFI GPT install of windows and yes do a secure erase first to eliminate the possibility of any problems.  Go into the bios to your drive priorities and set the boot device to your optical drive but make sure that it is the uefi listing for that drive so the efi bootloader will be used.  Also set your ssd to the uefi listing for the drive.  Once windows is installed the windows bootloader will show for the uefi gpt drive and then the drive will be listed next in the boot order.  It will definitely look different than a regular mbr install when you look at it so don't be alarmed.
