I think my fans were working when I received my new PC.  Then I installed X16, now the fans don't work at all.  Card has gone up to 95 C with no fan activation.  X16 is showing 0rpm (correct).  Have tried taking the fan off auto and setting it to 100%, but the fans still won't spin.

Delete any profiles then Uninstall EVGA Precision X 16 REBOOT and see if your Fans start working.

I removed all the profiles and all EVGA folders under x86.  Still no fans.  Thank you for your suggestion, however.

Dose your card have two Bios settings, if so if I read a post somewhere one bios setting keeps the fans off until they reach 60C or so. Check your Bios Switch Settings if you have a card with two Bios.

No BIOS switch.  I removed the card and tried another PCI-E slot.  Still no fans, even on start up.

Since it's 5 days old.. I would return it to place of purchase and get another sent or if bought at EVGA, start RMA. But they off for holidays till Jan.

it's strange that the fans don't spin at boot, this should happen by default.
