I found a new demanding benchmark for GPU testing called The Talos Principle, download the testing demo here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/330710/
 
For the benchmark to work, you have to complete the 4 puzzles of the demo map, follow this guide here: http://steamcommunity.com...edetails/?id=342355019
 
Then go into the graphics options, and set CPU and GPU to custom to access all the extreme settings which are way more demanding then the Ultra preset. (CPU settings should say Ultra (2 custom) and GPU should say Ultra (15 custom) when you are done) It's a DX11 benchmark with loads of settings to choose from but do not set any of the compressed setting check boxes as that will lower the detail.
 
I ran it on my GTX 770 and got 17.8 avg fps with Extreme settings, and 78.4fps avg fps with the Ultra Preset.

Again, thanks for the heads up on this new game and the benchmark. I'm a huge Portal fan, although, I've only played those games maybe two times. I really like the story and all the other things that need to be done to complete a task. The graphics look great and this free demo is a great primer for playing the whole game. I do believe the game has been released to high reviews.
 
I can understand why the developers wanted the first chapter to be completed before being allowed to run the benchmark, as the benchmark reveals many secrets.
 
This is a tough game, and I've had to resort to YouTube a couple of times to get my bearings. It all makes sense once one understands the physics and the tools at hand.
 
Nite, I think it would be cool for you to start a thread in "Gaming and Gaming News" about this demo and benchmark. I would think many there would like to know about the game and benchmark, and probably don't check the 700 Series thread that much.
 
After completing the 4 tasks I setup to run the benchmark at the recommended extreme settings (see below). After running that bench I set everything to Ultra and ran that (see all below). I also ran the benchmark at my most stable overclock using Afterburner.
