Kboost will keep whatever oc and voltage you have on your card 24/7. Any offset overclock and overvoltage you set in precision x will stay in effect even at light loads.

Bump,
Kboost is grey'd out since I updated to the current version of precision X, previously I was able to use it. Whats the issue because I didn't see a resolution in this thread.

Are both cards supposed to be running at their max boost clock? In SLI, I have one card running full boost and the other is running non boost (1266Mhz vs 1415Mhz)
I'm using 5.2.6 and SLI 980s scx 2.0s

We'll I've got Kboost working on both my 780tis but for some reason gpu usage always says 0 for both cards when using aida64 on my g19 kb to monitor system stats. The other stats like speed, memory usage, voltage, fan speed all still work and show info. It's just gpu usage. Soon as I disable kboost the usage graph starts working again.

Is this normal operation? Or is it just a bug with aida64. What you guys think?

Yes, GPU usage is zero when kboost is enabled. Normal.

I just downloaded the new 5.2.9 but again i cant use K boost on my GTX 750 TI FTW. I can click it but it wont turn on... any ideas?

i've found a solution to use k-boost for my 680 i chill...
 
since we're all waiting for the next patch just uninstall the latest version 1st....then download the 5.2.0 version

How is there no resolution to this?
This KBoost feature has not been addressed since 5.2.0, pretty much since I got my card in November.

Whats the deal EVGA? How has this not been a priority; seeing how its the main piece of software for controlling the cards you slapped your name on?
Let's get a solution for this sooner rather than later, seeing as how most of us shelled out $500 - $800 on the 980's...

If you have an issue with the software, it would make more sense to post the issue in the release thread for the current version.  Or I guess you could just post in all sorts of random threads all over the forum and hope that someone who develops the software will find your post.  I personally would have posted in the EVGA Software section instead of reviving a month-old thread.
