I have two GTX 580 3GB one Classified and one Classified Ultra that I use for 3D rendering not gaming.  I want to be able to monitor its temperature better than what I use now.  i use Asus Thermalradar 1.01.24 since I have a Sabertooth X79 motherboard.  I read once that thermalradar and Precision X don't get along and that was the reason I'e never installed Precision X but this was in 2013 when I first bought my hardware.  i assume now they might have worked out the incompatibilities.  As I was ready to start downloading Precision X 16 I see that the GTX 580 is not in the list of recommended hardware.  Are my GTX 580s too old for the latest version of Precision X?

My system specs:
Corsair Rampage 32 GB of RAM,
Sabertooth x79 Asus motherboard,
Intel Crest 180 GB SSD system drive,
WD Caviar Black 1TB hard drive,
i7 3930K CPU,
CoolerMaster Haf 912 case with 2 fans plus CM MasterFlow as top fan & cougar vortex as chasis,
CPU Cooler Master Evo fan w push pull Blade Master as 2nd,
DVD drive,
Windows 7 Pro SP2,
Corsair AX1200 PSU,
EVGA GTX 580 3GB Classified Ultra,

I have Precision X16 5.2.7 installed on another computer that has a 560 SE and it works just fine other than a few disabled features.

It's true that you cant run multiple temperature monitoring programs at the same time since it will either give you false readings or mess up settings/profiles. I use Precision X16 with my GTX 970 but I prefer MSI Afterburner with my GTX 570. I'm sure either one would work just fine.

So no way to run Thermal Radar with Precision X. :(  I guess I should stay with Thermal Radar since it monitors the entire motherboard then.  As far as I know it runs constantly, not just when I call up the window, but I'm not 100% sure about this.  If it didn't stay on memory I could have both installed and just call either one and compare readings plus I wanted something with more information about my GPUs.

I am pretty sure you can run CPUID HWMonitor at he same time,

Thanks for your suggestion but I want to keep the ASUS software/hardware connection going between my X79 mobo and Thermal Monitor. I'm trying to avoid third party software.
