Hello,
I am not able to get anything on the screen with the following system setup:

1. EIZO EV3237 (supports UHD resolution / DisplayPort ver 1.2)
2. Intel Xeon E3-1275 V3 (P4600)
3. data cable: Sanwa Displayport cable (ver 1.2)

I am wondering if my EVGA Z87 Stringer supports UHD graphics?
(Or does it have nothing to do with the motherboard?)

Help would be appreciated!!

Did you test with a video card in the system?  What POST codes are you getting on the LED box on the motherboard?  The first thing to check is to make sure the board is even POSTing, as there may be other issues before the graphics would be initialized.

    1. No, I didn't test with a video card, since I don't have one that supports UHD; The CPU internal graphics specs says it supports UHD. Besides, even if it did solve the problem via a video card, I actually do not have the luxury to occupy the only PCIe slot with a "redundant" video card; Defeats the whole purpose of owning a Xeon E3-1275 V3, I think.

    2. Final post code after powering the rig: b4

    3. Tried switching to my Dell U3011 (which does not support UHD of course) monitor, and it works just fine. Then switched back to the EV3237... no luck.
