Hello!

Just a quick question.

I'm about to buy an awesome PC second hand, in which there is supposed to be an EVGA GeForce GTX760 3gb graphics card mounted. But! I cannot find a single mention of a 3gb version anywhere. Only of the 2 and 4 gb versions. The current owner tells me that it was a special/limited edition, can someone confirm this?

Also, if I would want to SLI the card, and since there isn't an other 3gb anywhere to be found, would it be compatible to the 2gb versions?

Thanks!
(added a photo of the inside of the PC, in case a visual aid would help, probably not)

Looks like NVIDIA sold a 3GB card at one point. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-760-oem/specifications

Doesn't look like EVGA ever did though. http://www.evga.com/articles/00757/#2760

    Okay thanks!

The current owner says he still has the box and will sent me some photo's of it and the serial number.

Will get back on this one!

Right! The good man was mistaken, the card is the 4gb version.

Even better!  I thought he was talking about an OEM model, like Sajin found, as that's usually the only time you see those sorts of designs.  Good news is that it turns out to be a better deal than you thought it would be.

By the way, i'm not too much of an expert, but this is not going to bottleneck or anything right?

    The specs are:

    - i7 3770K @ 3.5Ghz (3.9Ghz Boost)
    - Fatal1ty P67 Professional
    - EVGA GeForce GTX760 4GB
    - Corsair 8GB DDR3-1866Mhz RAM
    - 128 GB SSD + 1000GB HDD 7200rpm
    - FirePower Fatal1ty 750W 80Plus power supply
    - Zalman Z11 Plus

700 Bucks, good deal I'd think.

Nothing you should worry about for bottlenecking.  That's a pretty nice looking system you'll be getting.

And I were to SLI the 760? No bottlenecking still?
The CPU never exceeds 70 degrees Celsius, but with a SLI maybe a good idea to put in some more cooling?

Sorry for the 'quick question' that turned into 18.. I'm just not that knowledged on this area.

And since you're reading this, are there any other problems that would pop in your head when you see the list of this system?

You should be able to run another 760 without a problem just make you split the load between the two cards evenly between all four rails on your PSU.

    ^ +1

Your psu isn't my favorite that the seller could have used originally, but I don't have a reason to think you'll have an issue if you decided to go SLI.

Just make sure to use the correct PCI-e slots on the board for SLI, as one of the slots will disable PCI-e if you use it.
