I just paid $90 for my three 980. So a question about this 5 Year, is it a total of 8 Years or when you pay $30 for 5 Years Extended Warranty is really is Only a 2 Year Extended Warranty Plus 3 Years that comes with the card then making it a 5 Year Warranty?

5 years is 5 years = 3 standard + 2 extra (free or payd)

Really nice, but to be honest 3 years is about right, I ussually upgrade my card about every 2 years.

this is the EVGA promotion in the EU, recently extended from originally 12/31/2014 now to 03/21/2015. nice move EVGA, wish you would do the same promo in the states.

send a mail to the support and state your situation, they may give you the 5 year warranty as well. EVGA EU support: supporteumgr@evga.comautomatically it's only given in the countries stated in the promotion page.  all the other EU country citizens can apply but with no guarantee to get it.

too much for additional 2 years warranty?  it's 16€ at EVGA EU and I think it's worth for 970/980's.

I bought mine card in internet shop in Poland... Anyway they took it from EVGA distributor soo what matter where i bought it :/ Some get free extra warranty, some not.
