Will this card work on a 42in 720p tv running movies using the mHDM to HDMI cable?

    I see no reason why it wouldn't. Should work just fine.

    Thank you. I did get an answer somewhere else and they said it would work better with a DVI to HDMI. For now I will try the mHDMI to HDMI. Thank you for answering.

    Visually, the HDMI and DVI signals are the same. However, the video card is definitely configured to carry audio over the HDMI connection. The DVI output probably will not work with audio on this card.

    Technically it's possible to transmit audio over DVI --> HDMI cable, but the only time I did this was on a very old 9800 GTX+ card. 
     
    The HDMI cable will be the most convenient, cheapest, and most likely to work right away.
