Hey guys,
I understand this topic is quite old now with over 2 years, yet still having similar issues with that same card GTX 570.
Since 2 weeks ago from last NVidia drivers update my graphic card has been going nuts literally, as before i was on Win 8 64bits and whether i was playing or watching some streamings online passing with HDMI cable to the TV it crashed - back then was simply black screen, screen turns off, light on display turned red from blue but the computer still running. Or simply and automaticaly the computer restarts on its own, no matter what i was doing. Until the point i couldn't solve the problem anymore - last attempt was restarting Win 8 on safe mode, fully delete drivers with specific softwares for the purpose aswell manually removing remaining folders, files and registry entries - but none of those end up working, as soon as i install new drivers, old, news, past ones, didn't matter and trust me, installed like 10-15 different driver sets...
So end up formating and downgrading to my old Win 7 64bit, installed drivers and for a couple days fine, did updates and so and bam...now totally randomly again, sometimes playing is fine, sometimes crashes and restarts the computer, same as for the HDMI usage to the TV sharing monitor as soon as i activate it bam, restarts. Sometimes the bluescreen shows, sometimes it doesn't, only the error message when i login back on windows where it says "bluescreen error report".
Removed the GPU and most of the contents, cleaned them, passed a rubber on them to remove any eventual static and made sure all sockets and cables are in place and without apparent damage.
I'm really getting fed up with this and seeking some help from you guys, because i don't know what else to do...
My computer specs are currently:
Win 7 64bit Ultimate SP1
ASUS Sabertooth P67 motherboard
Intel Core i7-2600k @ 3.4Ghz
Kingston DDR3 Dual-Channel 2x4Gb 1333Mhz (8Gb)
ASUS Nvidia GTX 570 1280MB GDDR5 (drivers 344.48 installed at the moment)
Realtek Onboard HD Soundcard
(GPU card onboard disabled on BIOS)
Really appreciate some help.
Thanks a lot.
Kind regards,
Zik
