Gollas ok thx ascer for your help. The next thing i will try tomorrow is make a new install of windows (at moment i use win7) but i will try win8.1 maybe that helps i dont know i read something about in a forum. Im in phone contact with Evga germany support till 1 week now and the german support dont know a answer they give my problem now to the american support and maybe they know a answer for our problem. On monday we phone again and then maybe i know more, if all things dont help i evga will rma the cards and i try it with new cards. I read about in forum (think evga forum) that new cards fix the problem. Or i hope so
I already tried a re-install of my Windows 7. Didn't help. It's good that your in contact with EVGA, I'm in contact with nVidia, because I'm fairly certain its a driver issue. I've live chatted with them directly, and sent them my MSinfo32 file. They are also aware of my other post and are using it as a reference. I should here back from them within 24hours, and will update for you here, as well as my main thread.

great dude maybe we can fix this problem together :D and btw you dont need to test the evga pro bridge, becouse it was my start bridge and it doesent work like you know:( and before somebody say something its maybe the old bridge, no its a rev. 4.0 and the serial nr. starts with 14 so its a "4k" able bridge. Evga support says that too mhh ok what you think should i live chat too with nvidia ? maybe they need my MSinfo32 file too. Becouse maybe they working faster on that problem if they see more people got this problem. btw. if win8.1 dont help i gonna change my mainboard too and take one with 3 way sli avaible to test becouse i read in some post with the same problem that a 3 way sli bridge fixed the problem...

I just went ahead and set up a ticket with EVGA as well. So would recommend you get into a chat with nVidia too. I can't seem to post URL's here but if you Google Nvidia Chat Support, it's the first one that comes up (and only waited 13 seconds in line as well!). They didn't help me per se, however I linked them to my other post, and they were interested enough to immediately send it higher. Don't know about the 3-way though, good luck.

Holy Crap, now that's service! 13 second wait to get into a live chat. Was told it would be 24h until I heard back. Less than an hour, and they've already gotten back to me. No solution yet, but they've said: Your case is being escalated. The Level 2 engineer will review the case notes and may attempt to recreate the issue, find a solution, or a workaround if possible. As this process may take some time we ask that you be patient and an engineer will contact you as soon they can to assist or point you in the right direction.

I've tried both Max Performance, and Vsync off. Will try the other. Yes Gollas, I tried on 1080p on my other TV's, and this one. Same issue, only difference on the other once's is that the flickering turns red instead of green or clear.

Ok, tried 1080p on all three monitors, at both 30hz and 60hz. Still the same flickering. depending on the TV the only difference is the color and speed of the flickers.

Far Cry 4 started working fine now! Turns out there was a patch to the game since I first tested it, and low and behold now 3 games I own work fine:) This to me is even more damning evidence that it's a driver issue.

Hello I have a 4k vizio 55" tv as a monitor and have the exact same issue with the flickering screens only while in sli mode. running sli 980's evga brand. I have searched around for a fix like you all and have noticed what seems to be a common thread. This problem is happening on 4k TV's being used as monitors not regular 4k pc monitors. The only apparent difference is that TV's have a slightly higher 4k resolution than the 4k monitors, that and the 4.2.0 chroma issue. I've had a fair amount of experience trouble shooting cards in the past 5 years with around a dozen builds during that time all running at least 2 cards and this has all the hallmarks of a driver issue. Unfortunately the % of people using large format 4k tv's as monitors is probably some small fraction of 1% and that is probably why nvidia hasn't given it much attention. Its been 3 months since the 980s were released. Since we haven't had a fix yet I am not too optimistic about the immediate future. I am holding out until after Christmas, if there isn't a driver fix by then I reluctantly have to return the card because right now it is a paperweight. I am confident though that the drivers will eventually come but it could be quite awhile since the user base is so small.

Forgot to add one thing. I did find a post in which several people with 4k tvs with this issue were able to solve it by upgrading to windows 8. It seemed to work for everyone on that forum that tried it, but I'm not going that route. the cons outweigh the pros

Hey hardwood, mhh i dont want to try that becouse of the tons of gb that i must download again (games) but i think i give win8 a try. I think i upgrade now to win8. But guys im contact with nvidia and they know the problem with 4k tv´s here a copy : "Hi ..., Looks like we have a bug on this already and are working on getting it fixed, dont have any ETA on when the fix will be available at the moment though." and "Yes, we are aware of the flickering 4k bug specifically with this display/TV, not sure what the root cause is at the moment. If it is an issue we are able to fix we will unless its an issue on the TV side." so we will see maybe we get a new driver or hotfix as chrismas present haha :D btw @ascer what you do that far cry4 is working now ? and wich games you have who running now ? and WHY ?????? my far cry updated too to a new version 1.45 or something like that but i still get the unplayble crazy green discolight flighter like in all other games !!! *edit forget it ascer read you post in nvidia forum sry for dumb question :D

Hello, from the various calls and emails we have received on the issue, we are also forwarding all info to NVidia to try and get this resolved ASAP. This looks to be drivers from my own perspective not hardware, but to be honest I do not know what is causing this. We are working with NVidia to provide them with additional testing information to help get this fixed ASAP.

I had the same issue 3840x2160 @60hz green screen flashing on a Sony xrb65x850b. What I found that fixed it was setting the refresh rate to 59.9hz and I was good to go. The nvidia control pannel has two sections for resolution uhd section and pc section. In the pc resolution section was the only place I could get 24hz-60hz. Uhd section goes 24-30hz. 59.9hz in the pc section was perfect! Hope that helps. System specs Intel i7 4790k at 4.7ghz Asus sabertooth z97 mark 1 Evga gtx 980 sc x2 sli 850w psu 16gb gskill ram

Sorry, no help at all:) Already thought of that, but it's to me no different than lowering the refresh rate to 30hz. Regardless it should be fine at all refresh rates, not just some. I'm looking for a fix, not a work-around. Thanks for the suggestion though.

on bf4 that helped significantly but not completely. It went from unplayable to playable by reducing the htz to 59.94. There is still subtly constant flicker and now that I can see the game somewhat clearly there is terrible microstuttering.
