This is a frame-rate limiter, which gives you power savings when you reduce frame-rates.

    Wouldn't this feature affect minimum FPS and input lag?
     
    I mean what if you GPU downclocks and suddenly you are on a heavy graphical scene, I would assume you would get some kind of latency penalty as I could definitely feel it on my GTX 780 with adaptive Vsync enabled.

    Just start supporting DP 1.3 with upcoming GPU's and be done already, stop with all this hype BS already.......
