x79 classified bios chip

My bios chip is screaming hot.
is it normal to be extremely hot to the touch when system has been on?

AMD ryzen 3900x
Msi mag tomahawk x570
Gskill trident z royal c14 3200
Seasonic 750w
Evga ftw3 ultra 3080

    Thats strange , there is no way it can get hot independently may be its affected by some other part of the motherboard.

    Post an image of the chip you are getting the Heat From.

    I cannot send a pic, evga told me to rma it in.
    something must be defective to cause it to run so hot.
    Evga customer care is second to none.
