Definitely like it as long as the hit on GPUs, when implemented in-game, isnt crippling.

Because of that I call GeForce smart GPU and Radeon raw power. But it's better when smart graphic is even stronger and faster as plus.

AMD didn't done much for gaming to become real. For them suit is still glued for hero body and little objects disappear in air, peace of wall, stones,... We are here because of NVIDIA, but everything can be much better, I feel like they neglected PhysX little. They should work on PhysX more and launch some new single slot PhysX cards, off course not more than 100-150$ only for PhysX and than main graphic could work without losing performance. If AMD not support PhysX than on their cards option should miss in video settings and that's it. Gaming continue with PhysX or without PhysX, or with CPU on AMD cards in some lower percent.

It wouldn't be a minor API if it were made open by NVIDIA though, it's miles ahead of what Havok does.
It's unused because it's a closed standard that won't achieve widespread support since it's ineffective/unusable for a bulk portion of the total userbase. Not to mention that it's largely (completely?) incompatible with the current crop of consoles.

+1 Nvidia needs to open the api to the world. Being propietary, it only add negativeness to them. Imagine a world when nearly all games have PhysX effects than can be run in NVIDIA or AMD hardware... Today, if I'm a game's developer, I can not work using a "hardware" dependant api for certain on game effects. Is more reasonable to use another one, yet less powerfull, but more spreaded, that supports all the current hardware, as is Havok. Nnidia! Open the api, please!!!!

man that goo simulation was great I want them to make a bunch of adult games now with PhysX heck any PhysX simulation is great I crave games that support it as it seems like it is one of the best physics simulators around I swear the only reason its not in almost all games is because of consoles and amd people saying its not fair they don't get support portal 3 or half life 3 with PhysX please and lots of goo
