DayZ launched on Early Access this time last year, and since then we've watched it evolve from scrappy Arma mod into a game which lets you eat human flesh. To celebrate the milestone, Bohemia Interactive has released a video detailing the game's development as well as an updated roadmap for 2015.

Yeah, they plan to take care of optimization later... I bought it, but regret doing so. The game runs too much like garbage to even begin to figure out what it is about... Nevermind enjoy it.

Your guys comments confuse me. They released this game early (3 years early) in order to allow the community to help them develop the game from square one. Why complain? In 3 years, if the game is still not complete, I will be very upset, but until then, I'm cool with it.

    My Laptop (GE63VR-7RF):
    -7700HQ.
    -16GB RAM.
    -GTX 1070.
    -128GB SSD.
    -1X 1TB 7200 spinny drive.

I cant complain about a game I dont own. I just wont buy a game in Alpha or where the steam title says the following.

'PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE IT UNLESS YOU WANT TO ACTIVELY SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME'

When I play, I want to play not troubleshoot since I do that for a living .

I was suckered into buying this game by my internet friends.  Every time we play I basically do not have any fun.  99% of the game is running around doing nothing but waiting or gathering things.  Usually I will play the music from LotR when my friends and I are playing. Then they get sick of me and kill me and I must gathering and wait all over again.

Me and some friends use to play the mod and were excited about the stand alone. We no longer play the stand alone due to all the issues with the zombies and lag going into towns. Maybe when they get them sorted out we will go back. We knew this was an alpha but we just can not make ourselves play. But we did find and awesome mod for ARMA 3 called Breaking Point. Really well put together with the factions and the maps they are making. Constantly updating the game and adding new weapons and features also.
